Pietro Sutera, whose parents come from Sicily, is born in 1965 near the German Swiss border. He has lived in England, France and Australia and has travelled around the whole world. Today he lives with his family in Eppstein in Taunus. The Blink of an Eye Pietro Sutera’s camera eye looks beyond the stamped out tourist paths: Fascinated by a virtually poetic and very personal aesthetics the viewer is entranced by the energetic ambience in the photos of Pietro Sutera His work is an expression of two passions: Photographing and long-distance journeys. Wherever Pietro Sutera directs his look upon the world through the objective of the camera, he has hope: that he may succeed in catching the emotions of the moment in the photo.
